Automated
Licensing Tutorial (Overview) for Direct Ship States 1
– Main Menu
This
application allows wineries to fill in company and general data once and
remove redundancy from the application data entry process. The
standardized information appears on most state’s license applications,
in whole or part. The information you provide is populated onto the
required forms and supporting documents for printing. Remaining
information which is not standard information appears on specific forms as
you process the applications by state. 2
– Ownership detail
You
have the ability to list all ownership detail of the company to be
licensed. We
provide fields to capture
sub-level ownership if there are companies that own percentages of the
company to be licensed, giving you the ability to drill down at the lowest
level of ownership as required by certain states. 3
- Brands (Picture
of form intentionally omitted for proprietary protection) We
provide areas for capturing product lists including details for each
label, COLA links, label images, as well as specific criteria you
establish to be shown on the support documents. 4
- Permits
In
the permit section you list your current TTB and state Alcohol permit
numbers. In the lower section of this screen you may also list all current
direct ship permits along with their expiration dates.
5
– State Specific Data Entry
You
may select a specific state application to work on by selecting the state
and begin the remaining detail for that state’s application forms. 6
– State Data Entry
We
have listed specific forms along with remaining information to be entered.
Some sections have a default answer preset. Only the questions applicable
to your business type appear on the forms list of questions. When
completed simply close the window and any remaining forms will appear on
screen to be entered. Once all form data has been entered there will be no
other data screens for that state and you will be ready for printing your
reports. 7
– Select Reports
Select
one or more forms to be previewed or printed or select all forms for that
state. Preview mode allows you to view your forms before printing. You can
view reports or labels or print your labels if they need to accompany your
applications. 8
– View Reports
To
preview your reports for one state, you are able to select one form or all
forms for that state to view or print at once. Along with the reports, we
provide you a summary page of all documents needed, listing the order of
completion before submitting the next documents. We also provide you state
agencies information for fee submissions along with supplemental documents
you will need to include in your application packet. If
there are company forms that must accompany the application, the summary
list will advise you which documents are needed. Always
read your entries before sending to double check your work and save form
copies for your files before mailing.
